Course links provide learners a way to access your content directly, without having to scroll and search through the learning system. Course Enrollment Links, also known as Course Deep Links, perform two functions: Navigating a learner directly to the course; and, enrolling the learner into the course.
How to Get a Course Deep Link
Getting a course link as a learner
As a learner looking to share a course, login to the Campus Learning System, then:
- Open the course.
- Click the link icon in the upper-right.
- Click Copy Link.
- You may now share this link with others.
Getting a course link as a Power User
As a Power User in the Campus Learning System:
- Open the course. Click the Gear icon, choose Course Management, and click on the course name.
- On the Properties tab, open Enrollment Options.
Check Enable enrollment link for this course, then click Copy to Clipboard.
Troubleshooting Links
The most common problem with course links is caused by using a simple link versus a Course Enrollment Link. Copying the link in the address bar will not work and should be avoided. In some instances, learners attempting to use a simple link will receive a 403 Forbidden Content error.
Course Enrollment Links are much lengthier and can be identified by their &hash
text.
