How can I enter Summer Sick Grant hours for 9 month faculty that worked additional months?

  1. Use the magnifying glass to the top right to search for the employee. Select the employee and click on the “Go To” dropdown and select “Schedule”.
  2. Choose the calendar icon to select the date range if using another period. If using the current period, no change is necessary. It can be added in any period that is still open for entries.
  3. Now, right click on the actual day that you would like to add the additional summer sick grant hours and select the “Enter Time Off” option in the pop-up.
  4. Select the “Summer Sick Grant” option and click “Apply”.
  5. Enter the start time (8:00 AM is standard) and then choose the number of additional hours to be added. Conversion of the .83 days is 6.67 hours additional per month worked (max 20 hours). Click “Review”.
  6. At this time, choose the “Request Comment” option and enter additional months worked in the comment section for tracking purposes. Select “Submit” and the additional hours will be added on the selected day.
Note: Eligible employees may also request these additional hours, the same way as requesting time-off. Once entered, the request will direct to the supervisor or approved admins for approval. Once approved, the hours will be added to the sick balance.
