WAM Roles And Responsibilities

WAM is a centralized form used to make updates to and review the existing workflow paths for various system documents. The roles described below determine the system access a user is granted. 


Role/ResponsibilityDescription
Eligibility
Workflow AdministratorThe person(s) responsible for:

Managing Central workflow paths
Creating system documentation and training material
Updating Primary WFO
Designated by the Chief Human Resources Officer
Primary Workflow Officer (WFO)
The individual responsible for maintaining and updating subsequent roles and end-user approval paths for a designated organizational unit or rangeDesignated by the School/VP or designee

Must be in an active assignment category of 01 Full-Time, 03 Part-Time, 04 Irregular (Retiree), or 59 Affiliate Employee
Secondary Workflow OfficerAssists the Primary WFO with duties described aboveDesignated by Primary WFO

Must be in an active assignment category of 01 Full-Time, 03 Part-Time, 04 Irregular (Retiree), or 59 Affiliate Employee
Notify PersonReceives the 24-Hour hold notifications for the designated organizational unit or rangeDesignated by Primary WFO or defaults to the Primary WFO

Must be in an active assignment category of 01 Full-Time, 03 Part-Time, 04 Irregular (Retiree), or 59 Affiliate Employee
ApproverThe person(s) assigned to review and respond to workflow notifications for a designated document type, approval level, and amount thresholdMust be in an active assignment category of 01 Full-Time, 03 Part-Time, 04 Irregular (Retiree), or 59 Affiliate Employee

Access to review documents must be granted through the individual HR, Finance, or System responsibility
