Continued enhancements have been made to UAB Perform to improve the usability of the app and shift in focus to people-centered performance management. These updates support a culture of continuous development.
Changes to Goals
The enhanced My Goals section now enables continuous feedback and accountability through year-round goal tracking with your manager. This change:
- Encourages engagement: Employees now have the ability to view, add and amend goals as needed.
- Provides accessibility: Employees can access past, current, and future goals.
- Assists with check-ins: Employees and supervisors can use the "Comments and Updates" section to document progress during regular and quarterly check-in conversations.
A weekly email notification is sent to supervisors who need to review and approve goals for their direct reports.
New Features for Managers
- New "Indirect Reports" section provides status of performance evaluation and goals for second-level reports
- New report for managers: “Supervisor Export with Scores” allows managers to export employees’ section ratings. This is found under the Reports tab.
- New audit log shows timestamp of evaluation submissions
- Managers can reopen an unsigned evaluation for employee
New Features for Org Admin Users
- Integrated roles from the Campus Role Management App (CRMA) to UAB Perform
- Roles of HR Executive, HR Organization Administrator, and HR Organization Officer in the CRMA are granted Org Admin access in UAB Perform
- New permission to reopen unsigned evaluations
- Evaluation section ratings have been added to the report “Annual Eval Summary with Scores”
- Org Admins can filter employees by Functional Org in the Admin section
- New audit log shows timestamp of evaluation submissions
- Cleared out Alternate Supervisors (previously “Assigned Supervisors”)
- Employees being evaluated by a non-Oracle supervisor need to be reassigned a new Alternate Supervisor by the Manager or Org Admin
